Under /w you find your widgets. The edit switch reveals favorite, visibility, sorting, editing, and trash actions without changing pages.
Widget Help
Create and maintain widgets well.
Widgets are individual shortcuts. The dashboard is for using them; /w is for management, editing, import, and trash.
Roadmap
Efficient workflow
Link widgets lead to websites or tools. Contact widgets store email, phone, or contact details and remain private or internal. They are not published and are skipped by "Open all".
Tags help with search, tag pages, and deck selection. Colors improve recognition. Descriptions and notes are mostly for your own classification.
Enable edit mode on /w when you want to clean up, hide, or sort multiple widgets. Turning edit mode off saves the order.
Browser bookmarks can be imported from an HTML file. Folders can be selected or deselected; only entries you deliberately mark are imported.
General
Navigate faster
Decklane can be used without long menu paths. Keyboard shortcuts work outside form fields.
The command palette searches the most important places on Decklane. Use arrow up/down to switch results, Enter to open the active item, and Esc to close the window.
Tips and details
- Hidden widgets remain available but do not appear on the normal dashboard or in active deck views.
- Favorites are always shown first; your manual order applies within favorites and within the remaining widgets.
- Widgets from subscribed decks are marked with "Subscription". When you add them to your own deck, a private copy is created so your deck stays stable.
- Under /tags/{tag}, you find your own widgets, your own decks, and public decks for a tag. Tags can also be added to your interests or hidden.
- Problematic, blocked, or permanently unreachable link widgets are excluded from public decks until they are approved again.
- For private 18+ content, a self-declaration is enough. Public content can be reported and moderated.
